The Babe and His Brother

Downtown, waiting for the MAX to take us back home before nap time.

So, I am sitting here looking at my belly which seems to be growing by the minute. I am finally over the morning sickness phase and getting geared up for the second trimester. We are roughly into our 17th week. It has been fun seeing Eoghan look at the weekly development of the baby and make the connection that the baby is in my belly. He will spontaneously walk up and stroke my belly and give it a kiss. And when you ask him, “Show me your baby,” he lifts his shirt, points to his belly and smiles. He will make a GREAT big brother.  [cort]

Escape From New York Pizza, the Original and hippest of the Hipster joints on NW 23rd.

Rose Garden Amphitheater in Washington Park, dancing to the beat during the free Summer Concert Series.

Getting wild while at Buffalo Wild Wings with the Nielsens.

Watching the finches while at the pet store. Free entertainment: as good as The Discovery Channel.

Monterey Bay Aquarium? Nope. But it's almost as fun, highly educational, and the lines aren't as long.

Getting ready for the early morning bicycle commute, Eoghan exercises precise control of the vehicle.
